Fidelity Investments Rewards Visa Signature® Card with WorldPoints® Rewards

The Fidelity Investments Rewards Visa card is a good choice if you are looking for cash as a reward. They offer 1.5% cash back on every purchase in every category, where the usual offer is 1%. Once you reach $15,000 in purchases per year you will earn 2% on every purchase. There are some important details to be aware of. It is important to know that the only way to redeem for cash is to have en eligible Fidelity account. Eligible accounts include all non-retirement registrations, but please make sure to read the terms and conditions during the online application process. You also need to make sure to make a purchase at least every 6 months as the rewards will expire if no activity is recorded for that amount of time.

Should you choose to apply for this credit card, it may be important for you to know that the card is issued by FIA Card Services, which is owned by Bank of America.

Even though this is a great cash back rate it may not be the best choice if much of your spending is on grocery purchases and gas. Compare this card to the Blue Cash Everyday card from American Express and find out what is the best credit card deal for you. The Blue Cash will earn you 3% on groceries and 2% on gas and department stores, but only 1% on all other purchases. Without making complicated calculations a good estimate is that if your spending in the 3 categories above is less than 40% then the Fidelity Visa card is for you, but if your spending is more than 40% then the American Express card should be considered.

MY TWO CREDIT CARD CENTS
Nov 5 Starwood Points at a 25% Discount

Earning Starwood points were once a very good idea, because you could redeem for hotels and resorts all around the world. For instance Bora-Bora, which is very expensive and outside the reach of most travelers could use the points and actually be able to afford it. However points program tend to be devalued and Starwood is certainly no exception. They began adding more reward tiers to their program where the top tiers required an insane amount of points for just one night. That meant very few people would even have enough points to take advantage of the book 5 nights and stay 1 night free deal.

Aug 3 Earn up to 4 Free Nights with the La Quinta Returns Visa Card

Hotel promotions have been lackluster to say the least. Bonus points and special offers at 5 star hotels used to be manageable at least once a year, but so far in 2013 there really have been no good offers lately.

The La Quinta Returns Visa Card issued by First National Bank of Omaha has just launched a promotion for new cardholders offering up to 4 free nights at La Quinta Inn.
